Just dropped off at our hotel after my wife and I had an amazing day. W.O.W. Really had a hard time deciding on a guide – so many to choose from, but just book Mustafa. Amazing, fun, easy, educational – a perfect day. Why? A “very” local lunch that was delicious, fun and right in the thick of things, tickets were easily secured for each exhibit – we gave him money and he got the tickets (stood in line, etc.), he knew where to go and when, had answers to all of our questions, struck the right balance between education and fun, he had a driver, so we were dropped off and picked up right at each spot, he took pictures for us, gave us tips on when to tip, took us to places where there were minimal crowds, arranged for a fun camel ride, shopping and even the dinner cruise was fun. A seriously nice guy, excellent English (he speaks several languages) and I can’t say enough about the pace, content, attention to detail and ease he made of the day. He picked us up at 8am sharp at our hotel and dropped us back off around 8:30 pm – he was with us the entire time to ensure we had the best day, and we did. Thank you Mustafa!

Mustafa our guide and Ibrahim our driver were fantastic! If you want to see the sights around Cairo I highly recommend booking through CGT Egypt. It was confusing trying to find a good tour guide online, but fortunately we found these guys. They are legit! First of all we reserved a hotel in Giza on booking.com with a pyramids view. CGT gave us excellent advice to beware because these hotels will often switch locations on you at the last minute and that is exactly what happened. We were prepared for this and had a backup hotel in Zamalek. It would have been a nightmare to arrive in Giza with our bags after a full day of plane travel and not have a place to stay. Our whole experience in Cairo ran smoothly and was much more enjoyable than it would have been without their advice. If you need help with anything you can message them and they will respond right away. Communication was outstanding! Mustafa picked us up at our hotel and we drove directly to Sakkara, which I think is more enjoyable than the great pyramids because it’s almost empty. We had plenty of time to wander around and take pictures. Mustafa is super friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Sakkara, Memphis, and the pyramids. He did a full day tour with us while fasting during Ramadan which was impressive. He is also a great photographer with iPhones.

We had an unforgettable experience, the tour was amazing and I’m glad.

Our tour guide mustapha was awesome, guided us through out the whole tour with experience, knowledge, insight and history. He’s such a great guy, kind, patient and easy going.

And Ahmed the driver, was kind, professional, polite and cool. He drove us all day carefully and made sure we’re comfortable and got to our destination safely, from pick up to drop off.

We did everything on the list and even more, Mustapha recommended Carmel ride, we went for it and it was awesome.

I highly recommend booking a tour with them, if you’re planning to visit Egypt. You’ll have an unforgettable and beautiful experience.

I had an amazing experience during my visit! The highlight of my trip was definitely the camel ride and quad adventure — both were unforgettable. The driver and guide were extremely friendly and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. I also really appreciated the kindness and professionalism of all the staff at each stop we made; they made me feel very welcome and taken care of. If you’re looking for something memorable, exciting, and well-organized, I highly recommend this experience. It was the perfect mix of adventure and hospitality!

This was my first time visiting the Middle East (by myself) and I wanted to make sure that I saw everything that I could without having to go in a group of strangers and waiting around as you do in big groups. I only had three days and wanted to make the most of it. CGT made booking a private driver and personal guide SUPER EASY, answered all of my questions prior to arrival, asked me what I wanted to see and not push me into typical tourist spots. I was at ease about traveling with Mohammed (driver) and guide (Mustafa). The airport pick up was easy and CGT was ALWAYS in communication. I felt safe, my belongings were secure while I explored and the things that I did were well worth the money as we went on TONS of adventures. I also love that we stopped at some local favorites. My favorite was the papyrus store. I am not usually one to beinterested in weaving or learning about essences BUT I learned so much about these trades that I highly recommend you making those part of your itinerary. I enjoyed some local cuisine, Mustafa is an excellent photographer (as a content creator this was very important) and seeing the city through his eyes was quite the best class you could have. He is patient, funny and just all around the best guide so dont bother booking any other company! I can’t wait to come back with my daughter!!
