We had a half day tour of the pyramids with Heba, booked through cgt_egypt. Heba was a great guide, she was fun, entertaining and full of useful knowledge. She has very good English as well as a good understanding of Egyptian History. We were able to get some good viewpoints because she knew were to go when. A great tour with a great guide!
We had an absolutely fantastic day with Rodina visiting the Pyramids, the Sphinx, enjoying a camel ride, and exploring the Grand Egyptian Museum. Rodina is an amazing guide. Incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely passionate about Egypt’s history. I was travelling with my mum and translating for her, and Rodina was so caring and supportive throughout the day. She picked us up from our hotel, arranged a delicious lunch, and tailored the experience perfectly to us. She also knew all the best spots for photos! The trip was very reasonably priced and we felt we got the best value for the money. As two women visiting Egypt for the first time, we felt completely safe and very well looked after. We were so pleased with the experience that we booked Rodina for two additional days, and by the end of our stay it felt like I have a sister in Egypt now. My host was Kareem he was an excellent host. My hotel was initially noted as outside the pick up area, but Kareem contacted me 5mins after getting the confirmation of my email and confirmed that I would be picked up. On the day of the tour, he text me 15mins before my pick up time to let me know he had arrived. We made our way to the pyramids first, where he ensured that I was safe the entire time, communicating with the staff and street venders and letting me know before that what I should expect and how to politely decline people approaching me trying to sell things to me. He not only acted as my guide, as I was solo travelling, he took all my pictures during the tour and ensured I got all the pictures I wanted. He provided useful information about the sites without it feeling like a school lecture. The entire experience was great. Yes! the paying for just the admission to the pyramids would have been cheaper, but having a guide was really helpful as a solo traveller. Overall it was a great tour, would definitely recommend and would book him again to explore other areas
Our guide Emad told us a lot about the pyramids and showed us around. He spoke very good English and was very friendly. Was everything very straightforward from picking up from the hotel to driving back. All in all it was a very nice day and I can only recommend it.
We had a wonderful experience with this tour. Our guide, Hesham was extremely knowledgeable and gave us several insights into the history of the pyramids, the Kings and the Egyptian culture. The tour was perfectly paced, giving us sufficient time for photos. We would recommend starting early to give you time later in the day to do another tour/activity.
